Following a discussion on data it was decided to arrange additional Maths teaching across the Partnership.

Three full day sessions took place in June and July 2008, in which Year 10 students from schools in the Partnership participated in tuition and activities with the intention of increasing their motivation to aim higher in Maths.  These sessions, led by David Bones, Head of Maths at William Howard School, were well attended and highly successful. They took place at the Learning Gateway, University of Cumbria and also involved input from the University.
